Director of Technology Risk

Morgan McKinley have partnered with a global Financial Services company in hiring a Senior Risk Management role responsible for leading the development and enhancement of the enterprise risk framework in the 2LoD and supporting prudential risk management activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the review and maintenance of risk management frameworks, risk appetite processes, and enterprise risk governance.

• Coordinate enterprise-wide risk assessments, risk registers, recovery planning activities, and regulatory risk management submissions.

• Oversee reputational risk, ESG risk initiatives, policy governance, and management reporting.

• Prepare and present risk information to senior management, boards, and governance committees.

• Support strategic planning processes and act as deputy to the head of enterprise risk when required.

**Requirements: **

• Significant experience in enterprise tech risk management within a regulated environment.

• Strong understanding of risk governance, prudential risk, and regulatory expectations.

• Strong understanding of security architecture, IT programming and systems.

• Experience engaging with senior stakeholders and governance committees.

• Excellent communication, reporting, and policy development skills.

• Ability to operate effectively in a complex, multi-stakeholder environment.
