Product Security Engineer | €550-€650 day-rate contract

  • Working in a business-critical role Product Security Engineer

  • Long-term requirement, will start with 6 month contract. Strong likelihood of extension

  • Hybrid role – 2 days per week on-site

A global leader in Medical Devices is seeking a Product Security Engineer. The successful applicant will secure the next generation of cutting-edge medical technologies that will shape the future of patient care. Security remains at the heart of every stage of the product lifecycle, and you will own the software security solutions.

In this role, you’ll play a key part in ensuring these products meet the stringent security requirements demanded by international medical regulators. Working closely with Product and Development teams, you will champion a Secure-by-Design approach, helping to build security into innovative embedded devices from the ground up.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Partner with Product and Engineering teams to embed security throughout the product development lifecycle

  • Define and implement security requirements, vulnerability management processes, risk assessments, and secure SDLC practices

  • Provide technical leadership in secure coding, threat modelling, and remediation activities

  • Support compliance within a regulated Quality Management System (QMS) environment

What They Are Looking For:

  • 5+ years working in Cybersecurity

  • Strong experience securing embedded devices, ideally within highly regulated industries such as Medical Devices, Healthcare, Automotive, Aerospace

  • Proven experience leading Product and Development teams within a Secure-by-Design environment
