Sitecore Technical Lead & Platform Architect

Sitecore Technical Lead & Platform Architect Dublin | Hybrid Working Cpl Recruitment are partnering with a global organisation to appoint a Sitecore Technical Lead & Platform Architect to play a key role in shaping the future of its enterprise digital platforms.

This position offers the opportunity to influence technical strategy, lead the delivery of modern customer-facing solutions, and provide technical leadership across a complex digital ecosystem.

Working closely with engineering, product and architecture teams, you'll help drive innovation, platform stability and engineering best practice while leading a high-performing development team.

The role offers a salary of up to €93,100, a target bonus of approximately 10%, and an excellent benefits package.

Responsibilities Provide technical leadership across the design, delivery and ongoing enhancement of enterprise digital platforms.

Develop scalable architecture solutions using modern Sitecore and cloud technologies.

Take ownership of the platform roadmap, ensuring the environment remains secure, current and fit for future growth.

Work with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions.

Promote engineering excellence through architecture reviews, development standards and technical governance.

Lead technical decision-making around integrations, APIs and digital platform capabilities.

Manage and mentor engineering teams, supporting technical development and successful project delivery.

Drive improvements in platform performance, resilience, security and operational support.

Support DevOps and CI/CD practices to enable efficient software delivery.

Encourage continuous improvement through innovation, automation and knowledge sharing.

Requirements

Proven experience leading enterprise Sitecore development initiatives within large-scale environments.

Strong background in .NET development and modern Sitecore platforms, including headless implementations.

Experience designing cloud-based solutions using Azure or AWS.

Previous technical leadership experience, including mentoring development teams.

Strong understanding of API-led architecture, integrations and enterprise application design.

Experience working within Agile software delivery environments.

Ability to influence stakeholders and communicate technical concepts to both technical and business audiences.

Strong focus on software quality, security, scalability and performance.

Experience with composable architecture, Sitecore XM Cloud or similar modern digital experience platforms would be advantageous.

Sitecore certifications or exposure to enterprise eCommerce environments are desirable.

On Offer Salary up to €85-93,100.

Annual bonus target of approximately 10%.
