Senior Lab Infrastructure Engineer

Lab Support Senior Engineer A senior technical role focused on supporting and enhancing lab infrastructure across compute, networking, storage, and software environments.

This position involves hands-on engineering, automation, and collaboration to enable innovation in secure and scalable systems.

Responsibilities Ensure lab environments meet security compliance standards, including network segmentation, patching, and system hardening Deploy, automate, and maintain lab infrastructure across servers, storage, networking, and software platforms Provide architectural-level support across networking, server hardware, and virtualized environments Administer and support Windows and Linux systems within Agile and Scrum-based workflows Collaborate with engineering teams to design, define, and implement lab configurations Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues while supporting internal engineering stakeholders Document installations, infrastructure diagrams, and automation processes Manage lab lifecycle operations including inventory management, provisioning, and onboarding of new equipment Requirements Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience (5–10 years) in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field Expertise in at least 2–3 of the following areas: networking, server hardware, virtualization, operating systems, or coding Hands-on experience with security compliance standards and implementation practices Strong communication skills with a high level of documentation discipline Experience with automation tools such as CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure-as-code, or Ansible is advantageous Exposure to Agile or Scrum methodologies is desirable #LI-MS2
