Dublin (Hybrid) Long-Term Contract Negotiable Day Rate We are partnering with a leading global investment bank to hire a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer for a long-term contract role based in Dublin.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work on high-impact investment platforms used by customers worldwide.

The Role You’ll join a high-performing engineering squad, contributing to the design, development, and delivery of scalable, enterprise-grade applications.

This role offers strong exposure to architecture, stakeholder engagement, and technical leadership.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain applications using Java (11+) and Spring Boot Build and enhance UI components using Angular (8+) Translate business requirements into technical solutions and deliverables Drive high-quality code standards with strong test automation Contribute to architecture and system design decisions Collaborate with cross-functional and distributed teams Support and improve CI/CD pipelines and delivery processes Mentor junior engineers and promote knowledge sharing Ensure systems are robust, resilient, and scalable Required Experience Strong full stack development experience (Java + Spring Boot + Angular) Proven ability in application design and architecture Experience with test automation frameworks Solid understanding of CI/CD and Agile environments Strong stakeholder communication and technical influencing skills Cloud experience (AWS preferred) is a plus What You’ll Bring Passion for building high-quality, scalable solutions A collaborative mindset with strong ownership Experience mentoring and supporting junior team members Ability to balance technical excellence with business needs What’s on Offer Long-term contract with a globally recognised investment bank Competitive day rate (negotiable) Hybrid working model in Dublin Opportunity to work on cutting-edge financial systems
