TypeScript Tech Lead – React Native, Next.js, Node.js, GCP Cpl are partnering with an exciting, high-growth technology company in the health and performance space to hire a hands-on TypeScript Tech Lead.

This is a key hire for a product-led business that is scaling a consumer platform used by athletes and teams at the highest level of sport.

This role will suit a strong engineering leader who still enjoys being close to the code.

You will lead technical delivery across mobile, web and backend, shape architecture, and help build an excellent engineering culture as the team grows.

Location: Dublin – hybrid 1-2 Days per week.

Salary: €100,000–€140,000 DOE + options + Benefits Responsibilities Lead architecture and end-to-end delivery across a consumer mobile app, web platform and backend services.

Remain hands-on in the codebase, working primarily with TypeScript, React Native, Next.js and Node.js.

Set high standards around code quality, technical decision-making, reliability and delivery pace.

Own production engineering practices including observability, incidents, postmortems, performance and service health.

Build and evolve secure APIs, data models and backend services.

Support technical delivery across authentication, payments, subscriptions and privacy-sensitive data.

Mentor, coach and help hire high-calibre engineers.

Partner closely with founders and product stakeholders to turn priorities into scalable, user-focused solutions.

Requirements

5+ Years experience in a similar role Strong recent experience writing, reviewing and debugging production software.

Experience leading engineers while remaining deeply hands-on technically.

Strong TypeScript background, with experience across React Native/Expo, React/Next.js and Node.js.

Proven experience delivering and maintaining iOS and Android applications, including store releases and mobile release processes.

Experience owning a consumer-facing product through growth, scaling or major technical change.

Strong backend and systems knowledge, including APIs, databases, data modelling, caching, queues and cloud infrastructure.

Experience operating software in production, including monitoring, incidents, on-call or reliability improvements.

Exposure to authentication, payments, subscriptions, GDPR or sensitive customer data.

Strong communication skills, commercial awareness and good product judgement.

Must have Irish/EU Citizenship and be based within a commutable distance to Dublin On offer Salary of €100,000–€140,000 plus options.
