Senior DevOps Engineer – Dublin (Hybrid) Cpl Recruitment are partnering with a leading global organisation to hire a Senior DevOps Engineer to join their growing technology team in Dublin. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced DevOps professional to play a key role in building, automating, and scaling cloud-native infrastructure while driving best practices across CI/CD, platform engineering, security, and reliability. Overview As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will work closely with software engineering, architecture, and platform teams to design and support highly available cloud environments. You will be responsible for infrastructure automation, deployment pipelines, observability, and ensuring secure, scalable platforms that enable rapid software delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and maintain scalable, resilient cloud infrastructure across AWS, Azure, or GCP environments.

  • Develop, optimise, and support CI/CD pipelines to improve software delivery and deployment efficiency.

  • Implement and manage Infrastructure-as-Code solutions using tools such as Terraform.

  • Build and maintain monitoring, alerting, logging, and observability capabilities across platforms.

  • Collaborate with engineering teams to streamline development and deployment workflows.

  • Champion security best practices across cloud infrastructure, applications, and delivery pipelines.

  • Support and optimise containerised environments using Docker and Kubernetes.

  • Drive automation initiatives to improve operational efficiency and platform reliability.

  • Participate in troubleshooting, incident response, and continuous improvement activities. Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, Site Reliability Engineering, or a related discipline.

  • Strong hands-on experience with at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

  • Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or similar.

  • Strong knowledge of Infrastructure-as-Code, preferably Terraform.

  • Experience working with Docker and Kubernetes in production environments.

  • Scripting and automation experience using Python, Bash, PowerShell, or similar.

  • Experience implementing monitoring and observability solutions.

  • Strong troubleshooting skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving. Nice to Have

  • Cloud certifications (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

  • Experience with DevSecOps, security tooling, and compliance frameworks.

  • Exposure to microservices and distributed systems architectures.

  • Experience supporting large-scale enterprise or customer-facing environments. What's on Offer
