Power BI Developer
About the Opportunity
On behalf of our client, we are currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Power BI Developer to join a growing analytics and reporting team based in Dublin.
This is an excellent opportunity for a candidate with 1-2 years of experience in Power BI, reporting, or data analytics who is looking to further develop their technical and business intelligence skills within a collaborative and fast-paced environment.
The successful candidate will work closely with business stakeholders and technical teams to design dashboards, automate reporting processes, and deliver actionable insights that support data-driven decision-making.
Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Microsoft Power BI

Create and optimize data models using Power Query and DAX

Extract, clean, and transform data from multiple sources using SQL and ETL processes

Collaborate with stakeholders to gather reporting requirements and translate business needs into technical solutions

Maintain data accuracy, consistency, and reporting standards across dashboards and reports

Support the automation of recurring reporting processes and workflows

Troubleshoot reporting issues and improve dashboard performance

Work closely with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment

Document reporting processes, dashboard functionality, and data definitions
Required Skills & Experience

1-2 years of experience in a BI Developer, Data Analyst, Reporting Analyst, or similar role

Hands-on experience with Microsoft Power BI

Good understanding of: Data modelling

Dashboard development
Experience writing SQL queries for reporting and data analysis
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Good communication and stakeholder engagement abilities
Experience working with Microsoft Excel and related reporting tools
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively
