Salesforce Developer 6-Month Fixed-Term Contract €35,000 – €40,000 for the contract (€70,000 – €80,000 pro rata) Hybrid Working - Dublin (Must be based within a commutable distance to the office) About the Opportunity Cpl Recruitment is looking to hire a Salesforce Developer on a 6-month fixed-term contract.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a collaborative technology team responsible for delivering and enhancing Salesforce solutions that support critical business processes and integrations.
Working closely with Salesforce Analysts, QA Engineers, and business stakeholders, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable Salesforce solutions while contributing to ongoing platform improvements and technical best practices.
Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain Salesforce solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and declarative platform tools Build and support integrations between Salesforce and external applications using APIs and middleware technologies Configure and customise Salesforce objects, automation, workflows, flows, and data models Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to translate requirements into effective technical solutions Participate in technical design discussions and contribute to solution architecture decisions Work closely with QA teams to ensure high-quality platform delivery and testing standards Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve platform issues, defects, and performance challenges Contribute to coding standards, platform governance, and development best practices Create and maintain technical documentation, solution designs, and integration specifications Support ongoing platform stability, optimisation, and continuous improvement initiatives Requirements 3+ years of Salesforce development experience Strong hands-on experience with Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), SOQL, and SOSL Solid understanding of Salesforce platform capabilities, architecture, and data modelling Experience developing and supporting integrations with third-party systems Familiarity with Salesforce declarative tools including Flows, validation rules, and automation features Good understanding of Salesforce security, profiles, permissions, and sharing models Experience using version control systems and structured release management processes Knowledge of Agile methodologies and software development lifecycle (SDLC) practices Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills On Offer 6-month fixed-term contract Competitive salary of €35,000 – €40,000 for the contract duration (€70,000 – €80,000 pro rata) Hybrid working model with flexibility between home and office Opportunity to work on a business-critical Salesforce platform Collaborative and supportive team environment Exposure to integration projects and platform enhancement initiatives Chance to contribute to ongoing digital transformation programmes #LI-JM2
